WHO ARE WE?

Monarch Teacher Network - Western Canada is part of an ever growing group of teachers and educators from Canada and the United States who use the story of the monarch butterfly as a teaching and learning tool in the classroom.  Monarch butterflies offer the chance to learn about more than butterflies! 
The monarch’s journey offers learning opportunities in science, art, math, social studies, language arts, technology and more.  It offers opportunities to learn about the past, present and future of North America…its people… and the land that sustains us all.
